Kalliyan Winder, journalist
Kalliyan Winder is a Highschool Senior, 17, residing in Parkville, Maryland. She attends George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology, focusing in the Visual Arts program. She achieved two Regional Gold awards in the Scholastics Art and Writing competition in "Drawing/Illustration" in 2019 and 2020 as well as the Scholastics Art and Writing National Silver award for "Drawing/Illustration". Won the first place position in the Regional NAACP ACT-SO competition for "Drawing" in 2020. Kalliyan's visual art work has also been showcased in the BMA's "Art Makes Everything Awesome" temporary billboard gallery. She is currently reviewing and adding to her portfolio for multiple artist competitions and universities while exploring other artistic areas of interests.
