Appreciation Letter

Late Notes – Public School Paper Co.

To everyone it may concern,

For my genuine appreciation, I’d like to take the time to say thank you for all that you do. Thank you for taking the time to put in all my attendance stuff into the system and thank for calling me down to the office to let me know I’m going home early. Most of all, thank you for telling my mom about all the days that I’ve been tardy.

Not only did you call her, but you emailed her, and sent out a letter. Being 2 minutes late to school definitely affected my performance in school. The fact that I was ever 2 minutes late to school is unacceptable. It doesn’t matter if I showed up, because being early is on time and being on time is late, so being literally late must mean something terrible.

I should’ve been going to sleep earlier to wake up on time, beat traffic, and make it to school on time. Forget that essay that I had to write by 11:59! I should’ve been sleeping so I could wake up bright and early and make it in the building by 7:45 AM. Being on honor roll doesn’t compare to my attendance, and it needs to be done the right way.

This will impact my life forever and continue to remind me of the importance of being punctual and reminds me that nothing else is more important. Thank you for that.

Signed,

Your determined and punctual student 🙂
